"BJ In A Box" and 2011 Polish Fest?

I know it's a little early, but I'm curious if anyone is planning to attend the 2011 Polish Fest in Milwaukee WI? We were not able to go last year and I was really disappointed about missing the opportunity to meet my circle of Blogging Polish Friends (BPF's?! LOL!) If you don't know yet, that's fine, just wondering if anyone has thought about it. :)

On another note, I was going through some "random" photos and I came across this one. This rings true to my son's personality! He is a riot and is always finding new ways to entertain himself! If an opportunity doesn't present itself, he'll find a way to make one! This particular trait I love about BJ! However, it drives my husband crazy! (Probably because James was just like this as a child! :) Anyway, I was switching out some of BJ's smaller clothes with some new larger sizes, and I turn around to see this! I'm still not sure how he fit considering the box was still half full of clothes! He then popped out and yelled "Tada!" I have my very own "BJ in a box!" I had him re-enact it for video purposes! :)

Also, last weekend, I had an opportunity to attend this amazing conference for women/moms called Hearts at Home. If you are a mom (or will be soon:) you will definitely want to go! They have a plethora of workshops to choose from and you are surrounded by 1,000's of other women going through some of the same things you are! It's all practical, wholesome, christian advice/principles and it really works! I left feeling refreshed and armed with some great new strategies to try out with my little "tester!"

  3. Melanie!! I WAS AT HEARTS AT HOME!! in Normal, Il right? I thought it was a wonderful conference and couldn't believe there were 4500 Mom's atttending! I had many take-a-ways and even bought tapes of the seminars I attended. I am listening to them again and sharing them with Lee. I plan on going every year, if you go again, we'll have to connect! WOW - again what a Small world.
Also, Polish Fest June 17-19 is on our RADAR and I would love to get a group together again.

And of course...BJ in a box has me laughing out loud!

  6. So did he actually manage to close himself IN the box?! Hilarious. We have a big wedding the Saturday of Polish Fest, but if people meet up on Sunday, we will be there!

  7. We have Polish Fest 2011 on our calendar and are planning on attending. Would love to meet the Kochersperger Family...you must bring the box so BJ can jump out of it and yell, "tada" to all of us. He and Michal will have a great time playing.

  8. Hi Melanie!! Despite his ability to fit in small spaces, your guy has grown!! We are considering heading up to Polish Fest - we are weighing flying/driving options now and figuring out how much time we can take off. It would be a blast to see BJ again -- and you guys too ;)

  10. Melanie, I hope you get this... I just posted Polish Fest information. If we are not able to get at least 4 families to attend, I don't know if BJ, Michal and I will make the 20 hour drive (there and back). Let me know what you are thinking. I would love to meet your family.
